The motor started up fine, and the sputtering/ shaking was gone, and the boat ran fine WOT to our next spot. Only caught one fish there, and had another on, so I decided to start the motor and crawl us to another spot. Fortunately, we werent that far from the ramp, so I decided to fish there, thinking we could crawl/ use the trolling motor to get back if worst came to worst. Sunday, we ran out to a spot WOT, and I was idling around looking for a hump that I did well off of last year, when the shaking/ sputtering began again. Got up to Presque Isle, and once again, we fished all day Saturday, boat ran well all day, with no issues, this only made me more confident that everything was hunky dory and good. It ran fine, everything from idle to WOT, so I assumed the issue was behind me, and decided to go ahead with my the trip to Presque Isle my gf and I had planned for this past weekend.

I put in all fresh ethanol free fuel, and some seafoam, and took it out for a few hours last Tuesday. I replaced the fuel filter, checked the line, took a fuel sample that showed no settling at the bottom or anything. Asked about the issue on another forum, everyone was saying it sounded like it was fuel issue, maybe there was a blockage somewhere or maybe the gas had water in it. I used this opportunity to get up on plane and run back to the ramp. As before, a few moments later, the sputtering/ shaking stopped, and the engine went back to normal. At this point, the wind was picking up and the fishing was slow anyway, so I decided to once again, start crawling back to the ramp. I was about to move again, when sure enough, the sputtering/ shaking started back up. Sure enough, I ran to the next spot WOT no problem, and fished a bit more there. I fished for awhile, and decided to go try another spot.

It appeared to be fine, so I decided to run back to my spot and fish a bit. However, about five minutes later, the sputtering/ shaking stopped, and the engine went right back to sounding normal. Not wanting to do any damage to the motor or get stranded, I decided to crawl back to the ramp. I ran around the lake for awhile trying to decide where to fish, then started idling around marking some offshore structure on my SideVu, when suddenly, the motor made a strange noise, and startedd sputtering and shaking so much that the whole boat shook, when I tried to increase power, the boat would start to get up on plane but it was like a stick shift vehicle trying to stall.

On Sunday, I decided to head out alone for a few hours. Last Saturday, my gf and I went out and fished all day, was great other than the fact that the fishing was slow. Sorry for the long story here, but it's a lot to explain. I have recently started having a very strange issue shaking/ sputtering issue with the motor, that all began a little over a week ago.
